To strengthen the reach and effectiveness of nonprofits by providing affordable office spaces with an accessible environment that encourages collaboration and capacity building.

OUR VISION

To increase the impact of our tenant partners while providing a one-stop setting for resources, referrals and personal improvement opportunities for vulnerable families in the Historic Triangle area.

Established in 1994, the Historic Triangle Messmer Community Services Center, (MCSC) is currently home to nine service organizations that provide supportive services to residents and non profits in the Historic Triangle Area. 

 

Serving the Community

Through the Community Services Referral Network (CSRN), we provide same day referrals for those seeking assistance with food, clothes, shelter, emergency financial assistance, and other critical needs to service providers in the community. Through our in-house and community partners, we also offer workshops on credit and first time home buyer education, personal improvement opportunities, job fairs and vital resources to promote financial stability and self sufficiency.  

Supporting Nonprofits

For the past 25 years, the Center has served and supported the missions of dozens of local nonprofits and service agencies. Our Center helps increase the impact of these organizations by providing accessible and affordable office space. With lower fixed costs, more of their donor dollars can be utilized to move missions forward. 

Located in the heart of our building is the Alex Kuras Event Hall (AKH). This 3,500 square foot space and two large conference rooms are available to our partners, other nonprofits, civic groups, churches, neighborhood associations, and the community, for meetings, trade shows, fundraising events, and other private events at low or no cost.


Our Event Hall helps fund our mission, while offering an affordable venue for weddings, showers, holiday parties, memorial services and more to members of our community and regionally. Our goal is to remain reasonably priced so that the space may be rented regardless of financial restrictions.
